Sundream Holidays Works to Support the Less Fortunate

Sundream Holidays, Inc. works to support the less fortunate by participating in both local and international food and relief drives, in response to recent natural and economic crises.

Sundream Holidays, Inc. works to support the less fortunate “as a reflection of their commitment to customer service and sound business practices” according to key members of the company’s staff.  Sundream Holidays, Inc., a travel club based in Canada, recently donated 500 pounds of food to the Parker Street Food Bank, a non-profit food and furniture bank located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which provides groceries, furniture, and mentoring/skill training programs to members of the Nova Scotia community who are struggling.  Sundream Holidays, Inc., felt that the mission and work of Parker Street Food Bank was exemplary, and was also in keeping with Sundream Holidays own philanthropic goals. 

Sundream Holidays Inc. works to support the less fortunate overseas as well.  The travel company, which commenced operation in 2005, has always been aware of and involved in worldwide relief efforts and community-based improvement initiatives.  For the owners of Sundream, participating in worldwide relief efforts made absolute sense.  “As a business that is in the business of sending people on dream vacations around the world, being aware of what parts of the world are in need of aid, and addressing those issues is a ‘no-brainer’.”  The company recently donated to tsunami relief efforts, stating that, “as a travel company with multiple contacts in the areas affected, everyone at Sundream felt it was of vital importance to support those hardest hit, in whatever way we could”.
